Philanthropy Week 2025

April 14 – April 18

The 5^th annual Philanthropy Week is hosted by the Â黨µ¼º½ Nonprofit Leadership Studies program, the Nonprofit Resource Center, the Department of Organizational Communication and Leadership and the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business.

Philanthropy Week 2025 will focus on Human Services Nonprofits. The week will focus on organizations and individuals striving daily to meet the unique needs of all community members.

• Monday, April 14 - Empty Bowls Make Day for Needline with the Â黨µ¼º½ Clay Club and the Murray Art Guild.
  10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. | Campus Mall, Â黨µ¼º½

• Tuesday, April 15 - Darkness to Light, child abuse prevention training,
  free for MSU students and community members.
  6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. | Ohio and Cumberland Rooms, Curris Center, Â黨µ¼º½ 

• Thursday, April 17 - Philanthropy Week Keynote Address, Dr. Elise Kieffer, Program Director Nonprofit Leadership Studies and Mrs. Donna Herndon
  6:00 p.m. | Wrather Auditorium, Â黨µ¼º½ 

• Friday, April 18 - University wide Box Dwellers fundraiser for HOPE Calloway
  Noon – 4:00 p.m. | Campus Mall, Â黨µ¼º½
  

• Friday, April 18 - Community Concert for Philanthropy and Donna Herndon Award for Civic Engagement Ceremony sponsored by Tap 216 and WKMS
